Hamish Anderson was born in 1991 in Melbourne, Australia where he is also grew up. At the age of 12 he first picks up a guitar and is hooked right away. In 2008, at the age of 17, Hamish starts writing his own songs and tries to play at local bars to get some stage experience. Honing his skills for four years playing as many shows as he can and writing even more songs. In early 2013 Hamish releases his debut single “Howl” later that year he releases a self titled EP containing five songs recorded at the BJB Studio in Sydney with producer Eric J. Dubowsky.

A year after his first EP he records his next EP in Los Angeles. The EP was released in October 2014 and featured Grammy-winning floor steel guitarist Greg Leisz and Matt Johnson on drums.
Since 2015 Hamish starts to build an audience outside of his home country Australia, opening for every act that wants him. Touring for the first time through America in 2015. Hamish started to build up a reputation as a great live act, along side getting more radio play for his singles. His debut album, Trouble, was released on October 21, 2016. The album was very well received in North America and Australia becoming a well known name in both countries.

In 2017 Hamish played a lot festivals in North America, as well as a lot of shows in Australia. The next year Hamish went to Europe and played as many festivals as he could. On May 3, 2019 Hamish released his second full length album “Out Of My Head”. Followed by his first European tour as a headline act. At this moment Hamish and his band are still touring in Australia, North America and Europe.
